China blocks blogs, and china isn't making all the money..

New York times.

Standard test for Colleges

This is interesting which they want to give colleges test for their entrence. Well, I know that I enrolled in some of these testing, but to know where I stood.. They want to this for more strick entrence. Well, today it would be o.k.

But this is bush, the asshole never even pass his own studies let along he is making all these standards.. that ass bush..

China tries to band Internet access

"The Internet is open technology, based on packet switching and open systems, and it is totally different from traditional media, like radio or TV or newspapers," said Guo Liang, an Internet specialist at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. "At first, people might have thought it would be as easy to control as traditional media, but now they realize that's not the case."

Fxm: yes, the internet is and open system which they are trying to block these websites and blogs.. Well, people will keep making them.

I really like the statement that was said that it was like taking a 30 year old brain and making it into a 15 year old, by holding information.

Editors, like Li Datong of a recently closed Beijing newspaper supplement, Bing Dian, officially owned by the Communist Party Youth League, have begun to use the courts to challenge government efforts to silence them. But many frustrated reporters have simply moved to blogs, which give them an outlet to write about what they are not permitted to in their day jobs.

Fxm: the blogs are being used because here you have freedom to say what you want to say. Yes, I have realized that the blogs do give you freedom and this blog, you have not limitation what can be said.. so, this is freedom for the Chinese-less trouble.

Yes, I am understanding things a little bit better now… These blogs are freedom but the Chinese won’t be able to stop this.. People are free, they will find a way to express themselves..

Symbolically, the Chinese government thinks they scored because they modified Google, but web users are becoming a lot more savvy and sophisticated…

That kind of distortion is likely to appear again on Feb 10, when the commerce department announces the American trade deficit with China. By many estimates, it swelled to a record $200 billion last year..

Fxm: The first sentence talks about about feb 10 , then it talks about the deficit with china.. then the next sentence describes how it has increased but they use the word it. It is going back to the the deficit. Now, you have to learn that all this is being done inside this paragraph. The paragraph has the topic which talks of the date , the commerce department and the subject which is the Trade deficit. So, the it referes back to the main topic which is the deficity.. Yes, it’s $200 billion last year..

Everything is being assembled in china

Yasheng Huang, an associate professor at the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, explained: "Basically, in the 1990's, foreign firms based in America, Europe, Japan and the rest of Asia moved their manufacturing operations to China. But the controls and therefore profits of these operations firmly rest with foreign firms. While China gets the wage benefits of globalization, it does not get to keep the profits of globalization."

Fxm: Even though china is manufacturing this products the profits stay with foreign firms. Yes, you have to realize that china provides the cheapest labor available to assemble these products but the profits still stay with the foreign company. So, it’s like saying you can put this together for me, but I will supply you with the cheapest labor, but you still keep your profit.. .yes, all, I want is for my people to have work and I will charge will cheap.. That is all I want to do, I want to put it together it for you.. so, you make your money..

In fact,

About 60 percent of this country’s exports are controlled by foreign companies,

According to chines customs data.

In categories like compuer parts and consumer electronics,

Foreign companies command an even greater share of control over the exports

Analysts say.

Fxm: so even though china is producing these products foreign companies command control of these exports… Japan, the u.s. we are just sending the assembly to be done there but it is commanded from foreign companies.. The ones who lose out are the workers.. Yes, it can be lost of jobs in japan and the u.s. Yes, I now have a better idea of what is going on.

The biggest beneficiary of all this is the United States," said Dong Tao, an economist at UBS in Hong Kong. "A Barbie doll costs $20, but China only gets about 35 cents of that."

Fxm: So, we are making a profit because our labor cost is .35 cents.. We make a huge profit.. Man, I now understand, so we are making money… Shit, we aren’t losing any work at all, it’s just the labor that is being lost and now I can see the difference of what labor cost… Shit, why should I pay someone $6.00 an hour when I can pay .35 cents an hour.. Yes, I might wait but the profit.. That is the whole goal to all this it’s the profit..

"What China got in the past few years is only some pretty figures," said Mei Xinyu, of the Commerce Ministry's research institute. "American and foreign companies have gotten the real profit."

They are meant to inspire the staff, he said, pointing to a slogan that read, "One who earns money in China is a winner; one who earns money overseas is a hero."

Yes, we Americans have received all the benefits because the cost of labor…I like the last statement. “one who earns money in china is a winner, one who earns money oversease is a hero..

This is an example of exporting but the true winners are the U.S. and foreign companies. We still run and own the profits..

The devinci code movie

The site, thedavincichallenge.com, will post essays by about 45 Christian writers, scholars and leaders of evangelical organizations who will pick apart the book's theological and historical claims about Christianity.

Among those who will write for the Web site are Hugh Hewitt, host of a conservative radio talk show; Darrell L. Bock, a professor of New Testament studies and the author of "Breaking the Da Vinci Code"; and George Barna, founder of a polling and research firm that focuses on evangelicals.

Fxm: After jog

I had a good work out. I had time to think and the sunrise was great.

I will not send anything to lily for valentimes this will show her that I am completely over her…I have to realize that she has to much baggage and I don’t want a used Cadillac that has been honed twice and who knows how many more times.. I am looking for a young Ferrari..

Shit, it has taken me a while to realize this…Things have changed.

The last email I sent which I said all we have is memories.. Yes, everything around me has changed even her, so there…

I think it was great.

The part of my acne well, I am being honest and that is all..

Yes, that was great, I am emotionally free today.. That has been the goal the whole time..

I am free today..
